Financial & AI Disclaimer
Sentra is an informational product. This page explains, plainly, what that means and what it doesn't.
1. Informational purpose
Sentra provides market information and contextual intelligence about companies you choose to follow — news, market events, AI-generated summaries, and answers to supported questions. It's built to help you understand what happened and why it might matter, not to tell you what to do about it.
2. Not investment advice
Sentra does not provide personalized investment advice. Nothing in the app is tailored to your individual financial situation, goals, or risk tolerance, and using Sentra does not create an advisory relationship of any kind.
3. No buy/sell/hold recommendation
Materiality scores, sentiment tags, AI-generated summaries, Ask Sentra's answers, notifications, and Daily Brief content are not, and must not be interpreted as, a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything, a price target, or portfolio advice. They describe what happened and add context — nothing more.
4. AI-generated information
Some content in Sentra — including summaries and Ask Sentra's answers — is generated by AI. AI-generated content can contain errors, omit relevant context, misinterpret source material, or become outdated. It is explanatory, not authoritative — verify anything important against the original source or another reliable reference before relying on it.
5. Market and news information
News and market-event information in Sentra comes from third-party sources. It can be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally inaccurate, and is subject to correction. Sentra does not claim guaranteed real-time accuracy, and availability of any given source can change.
6. Sentiment and materiality
Materiality is Sentra's assessment of how significant a tracked development is — how newsworthy it is, not whether it's good or bad for a stock price. Sentiment characterizes the tone of the coverage — positive, negative, or neutral — not a prediction of what will happen next. Neither is, or is derived from, an investment recommendation.
7. Investment risk
All investments carry risk, including the risk of loss. Past performance or historical sentiment is not indicative of future results.
8. No guaranteed outcomes
Sentra does not guarantee any return, profit, performance, or market outcome, and makes no promise that following Sentra's information will lead to better investment results.
9. User responsibility
You're responsible for your own financial decisions and for doing your own research. Sentra is one input among many you might use — not a substitute for your own judgment.
10. Professional advice
For advice tailored to your specific financial situation, consult an appropriately qualified and registered professional, such as a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Sentra is not one, and doesn't hold itself out as one.
